I have always loved the natural beauty of handmade paper. As a child, I remember my favorite stationary being this beautiful floral paper my aunt had brought me back from France. It was a lovely representation of natural beauty with its delicate yet unfinished look. I used it sparingly for very special thank you notes! I was so inspired by it that my aunt showed me how to make my own, which was a fun creative outlet as a kid. As an adult, I still love this type of stationary and get that nostalgic, peaceful feeling when I'm working with it. I'm so grateful to have found a wonderful little paper supplier from a village in Thailand. I incorporate the mulberry paper, handmade by hard-working Thai women, into all my crafts and it’s a wonderful bonus for me to financially support a region highly impacted by the effects of human trafficking.
